Manufacturing depreciation will be part of manufacturing overhead. Manufacturing overhead (plus direct materials and direct labor) makes up a product's cost for inventory and cost of goods sold. If a product is manufactured in the current period and it is not sold, the product and some of the manufacturing depreciation assigned to it through the overhead rate will be on the balance sheet as part of the cost of Inventory.
