    Hello Group,
    I need to know if there are any regulations or rules stating that invoices generated by a company must be in numerical order? I had always thought that invoices and credit memos must be in numerical order. Could I get some feedback?

    In my knowledgethere is no any specific rule or regulation. Prenumbered document in sequential or numerical order is useful for control purpose. Random use of document can complicate the tracking of record as well as lead to fraud.
