    Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum. But I am *not* new to accounting.

For the last 13 years, I have been working as a staff accountant. BTW, I do not have CPA certification. I have worked in various different industries. Since 2002, I have been working in a small information technology company in Washington DC metro area. I have been using Peachtree Complete Accounting version 2007. I am very good at using this software and I have taught myself without any support from Peachtree folks.

I am very passionate about accounting and I will like to make some extra money by doing accounting, bookeeping and payroll services for small businesses. I literally I do not know how to market my services because majority of small businesses seem to be using QuickBooks software. I have never used QuickBooks software. So I have few questions and here they are...

1....do all of you on this forum have a regular full-time...or any of you have your own business offering accounting services with Peachtree/QuickBooks.

2....I have noticed that Quickbooks Pro and Peachtree Complete have almost same price, but then why small businesses are fascinated with Quickbboks? is Quickbbooks easier to use? Is it a traditional double entry acounting system like Peachtree?

3....if I decide to become Peachtree Pro Advisor, will it be easier to generate business provided they only use Peachtree?

    Any help will be appreciated.
