    Lets say i were to by and install a snow plough on my truck. should the cost of this modification be added towards the value of my vehicle or should i account for this snow plough as a separate asset?

    Furthermore, if i give this truck a new paint job, how would I account for this paint job? Should it go towards increasing the value of the truck or should it be considered an expense?
