    My company is experiencing a decrease in sales and operating income for the year ending 12-31-2009. One of my employees has suggested that all orders received before the end of the year be shipped by midnight on 212-31-2009 even if shipping dept. must work overtime We ship all merchandise FOB shipping point. We would record all such shipments as sales for the current year thereby offsetting some of the decreases in sales and operating income.
    If I use the suggestion of my employee do you think this would be an ethical/professional business activity?Why/Why not?Any suggestions?
