    If I'm given the totals for Direct material, direct labor, and applied overhead, and I'm asked "What were total direct manufacturing costs incurred ?"
    Am I right in thinking all I add up is the total of the Direct material and direct labor, and DON'T include overhead?

    i guess u right, applied overhead means indirect overheads being applied on some basis
