    I was wondering if there are any good non-degree certificates in accounting. I have no ambitions to be a professional accountant, but have been devoting a bit of time to reading up on the subject, and would like to get some certification for the amount I have learnt (or hope to learn), relatively modest though that is.

    Well in my view you should take some professional certification because it will enhance your practical knowledge and remove your mistakes in the accounting!

    There is another good way for you and that is the join some other accounting forums during your studies hope so you will find out help and it will increase your knowledge!
