    I have an assignment question on Accounting terminology.

    What is the Accounting term for "Events that depend upon future outcomes".

    yes, that's definitely contingencies. advertisement expense doesnt depend on future outcomes.

    hello,
    here you have two point :
    first: if it consider as revenue it will treatement as revenue recognation(contactual or point of sale)

    second: if it consider as expenses it will treatement as contingencies
